Caleta de Fuste is situated south of the airport and is also known as Castillo.  It is one of the major tourist towns on the island.  Caleta de Fuste has experienced rapid growth recently to cater for the many tourists who find its large man-made sandy beach and golf course an essential holiday requirement.

There is a new golf course under construction and an additional Sheraton five star hotel and casino will also be opening shortly.  You are never short of things to do in Caleta de Fuste with all the usual watersports available as well as boat trips, diving and even a submarine offering undersea excursions.

The nightlife is varied with bars offering all kinds of entertainment and there is a wide selection of restaurants both local and international to try.  Because of Caleta’s central location it is easy to explore the rest of Fuerteventura.
